Adding on to his myriad of releases in 2021, Chapter & Verse links up with IN / ROTATION for his latest single Forget You. With this track, Chapter & Verse continues to blossom into a household name in the tech house community. Forget You is the second song to be released through IN / ROTATION, with his first track “Whatever I Choose” being the lead off within the Rotate Vol. 6 compilation, released three weeks prior.
Forget You is a simple yet powerful tech house track. It leads off with mystical vocals, hooking listeners into the track with the lyrics “Forget You.” Then the track launches into the catchy bassline surrounding the vocals, repeating three different phrases: “How can I?”, “Forget You,” and “When you’re stuck inside my head.” This guides the track into the drop which intensifies the bassline and delivers an atmospheric breakdown. The breakdown starts with a calm oscillating synth and muffled vocals, and slowly starts to escalate towards the final drop.
