Celebrate a Decade of Deep House with Grum

Article by: Sam Wolloch

Deep house standout Grum celebrates the 10 year anniversary of his breakthrough album Heartbeats by enlisting the help of fellow house producers Tinlicker and Paul Thomas to remix a pair of standout singles. The extended mixes of “Through the Night” and “Runaway” are currently available on Beatport, while the full anniversary release of the Heartbeat: Ten EP on Grum’s label Deep State is set for next Friday, August 14th.

Both Tinlicker and Paul Thomas fit in well with the rest of the Deep State family, as they remixed some classic tracks with their own personal flair. Tinlicker reworked “Through the Night” into a high energy roller with his progressive prowess. Paul Thomas used heavy electronics and a supercharged bass line to transform “Runaway” into a banger.

In addition to these two new exclusive extended remixes, Grum’s Heartbeat: Ten EP will also include all of the original songs from the landmark LP 10 years ago. Again, the extended remixes are now available through Beatport, while the full 10 year anniversary special will release on Deep State on the 14th. Make sure to follow all the latest from Grum’s Deep State imprint to stay on top of the best deep house hit makers in the industry.
