Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, Fabian Diaz Adame, better known by his producer alias Adame, is ready to set off another Chain Reaction, as his latest EP releases today on Nightenjin. This dark and trappy EP comes hot on the heels of Adame’s successful inclusion on Nightenjin’s Pit Crew V2 compilation, with the attention-grabbing bass track “She Started Prayin.”
Adame’s sound design on this EP is both creative and captivating. The first single “Catalyst” takes acid trap to the next level, with an ominous soundscape and a variety of glitchy beats. I thoroughly enjoyed when Adame “flipped the switch” before the final drop. With his second song Adame goes “Bonkers,” using 808s and stabby synths to produce a classic trap track.
