Get to know John Davenport, a Utah based producer from Alaska, who makes electronic music under the alias Thrillogy. He is known for his edgy approach to melodic dubstep, hitting the scene with his first release on Ultra Records in 2016 called “Time,” after making waves with his upbeat remixes on SoundCloud. Proving his versatility by remixing dance classics from Galantis and Zedd as well as hits from indie pop artists Lana Del Rey and Sia, Thrillogy has shown the talent to make it big in the electronic music scene.
The latest addition to the Thrillogy Story, his single “Wasted,” features a powerful dubstep sound with original vocals to create a track well worth the listen. Equally impressive are some of his recent remixes, which one can check out on his playlist of popular Spotify songs.
Not limited to one genre, Thrillogy is a multi-talented musician and producer, using his skills to create delicate dubstep with original vocals, instrumentation, and arrangements. He even keeps an updated and curated playlist called The Thrillogy Collective on Spotify.
According to an interview with V2, Thrillogy admits to being a huge fan of Seven Lions, one of the main inspirations behind his signature sound. And with a new single set to be released on Ophelia Records’ next artist showcase, Seven Lions returned the favor on his Sunday morning Twitch stream, highlighting Thrillogy as an up-and-coming producer to be on the lookout for.
We hope you’ll join us #inORBIT this Friday May 8 for the ORBIT Virtual Experience Benefiting Feeding America, because you won’t want to miss what promises to be a moving and melodic set from Thrillogy, as he performs in his first online event.
