Meet one of dance music’s fastest rising stars, Phoenix based “Ekotech” producer known in the music community as Ekonovah. This up-and-coming artist has already landed performances on some premier lineups including EDC, Bonnaroo, Space Yacht and more. Matching an impressive performance schedule, Ekonovah has label releases with In / Rotation, Deep Obelisk, Do Not Duplicate, Gold Digger, Dim Mak, and recently released the track “Elusive” with Masteria on Tchami’s Label, Confession. The collab with Masteria had been two years in the making, dating as far back as May of 2018. Ekonovah says “‘Elusive’ was one of those tracks that sat locked up for a very long period, just waiting for the right time to enter the world.”
Catering to the house crowd, Ekonovah’s signature style is a clean mix of bass-and-tech house sounds while giving off that classic “Ekotech” twang that’s sure to give fans a “taste of that Medicine.”
“Ekonovah is on a simple mission; to influence the Electronic Music Scene with a new sound. After finding his voice, the 22-year-old has created a new identity predicated on musical integrity, danceable grooves, and a departure from the sound of mainstream electronic music.”
Thus far, Ekonovah has been successful in his mission to influence the scene, catching the ear of Porter Robinson after flipping his hit track “Language.” Porter would then go on to play it out all around the world.
