Moon Lvnding’s Rising Stars of 2025

At the beginning of 2024, we launched our Rising Stars series to highlight artists we believed would have a big year. We’re bringing it back for 2025, and the Moon Fvm has chosen 15 artists poised for growth. Each artist on this list has been grinding for years; now it’s their time to shine. Spanning multiple genres, there’s something here for everyone. Check out the list below, and be sure to follow them on social media to keep up with their rise.

Baby Weight
Genre – House
Baby Weight has been in the house scene for over a decade. She launched her record label, Chub Rub, in 2017 and began releasing her music in 2020. That same year, she came out as a trans woman and has since championed inclusivity. In 2024, she played Project Glow, Coachella, Bass Camp, and Forever Midnight, and released her dreamy house EP Lavender Lemonade.

Casmalia
Genre – House
San Diego-based producer and vocalist Casmalia has been dominating the West Coast house scene since 2017. Her versatile sound spans minimal, tech house, disco, and bass house. She’s had releases on Night Bass, Box Of Cats, In Rotation, and Space Yacht Records, and hosts her radio show Unicorns Only on Data Transmission. In 2024, she performed at Groove Cruise, Gem & Jam, Burning Man, and Same Same But Different. She will play Groove Cruise again in a few weeks, so don’t miss her set if you’re aboard!

Clawz
Genre – Acid / Hard Techno
Watch out, Sara Landry; Clawz is up next! LA-based producer Clawz has been playing piano for 12 years but found her passion for techno after a trip to Berlin. Her tracks, full of booming kicks, have been released through Space Yacht, Group Chat, and Audiorotica Records. She’s a resident at WORK in LA and played Beyond Wonderland, EDC Las Vegas, EDSea, and Countdown in 2024.

CONTRA
Genre – Deep Dubstep / World Bass
It’s hard to stand out as a bass producer in the Bass Capital (Denver, CO), but Contra has been doing it for over a decade. He created his unique sound by combining deep dubstep with cultural influences and even violin. In 2024, he released the Mumbo Jumbo EP and collaborated with Chef Boyarbeatz and Saturna. He performed at Lightning in a Bottle, Staycation, and Samara festivals. Catch him at The Untz Festival in May.

Cromatik
Genre – Dubstep / Riddim
Texas-based “cyber dubstep” and “ratchet riddim” producer Cromatik has been creating hard-hitting tracks since 2016, with releases on Never Say Die, Disciple Round Table, Bassrush, and Circus. His 2024 EP Lost and Found and collaborations with Vampa and Dack Janiels showcased his evolving sound. After playing Lost Lands’ silent disco in 2024, we expect to see him on one of the bigger stages in 2025.

Eater
Genre – Dubstep
Italian bass producer Eater was everywhere in 2024, releasing tracks on Subcarbon, Wubaholics, Bassrush, and Deadbeats. He played Lost Lands, Hulaween, Apocalypse Zombieland, and Jackpot. He also supported Tape B on tour and will join Zeds Dead and Deathpact’s tours in early 2025.

Fantom Freq
Genre – House / Bass House
Fantom Freq started DJing in 2013 and producing in 2017 after attending Icon Collective. He launched his label Thiccfreqness in 2021 and has released tracks through In Rotation, Space Yacht, and Yosh Bass. In 2024, he headlined in Japan and performed at Night Bass City and Off The Grid Campout. We hope to see his name on even more festival lineups this year.

Ghost In Real Life
Genre – Drum and Bass
Ghost In Real Life began her music career playing acoustic sets before shifting to DnB during the pandemic. Starting off as a bedroom producer and quickly making waves as a live performer, she took over festival stages and nightclub dance floors. In 2024, she featured on the DNBNL compilation, supported Chase & Status and Worship, and played EDCLV, Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree, Lost Lands, and Countdown. She’ll start 2025 by supporting Muzz in LA and Reaper in Austin.

Green Matter
Genre – Dubstep
Green Matter has been on our radar for a while. We were able to catch up with her at the end of 2023 for our Who Are Ya series. Denver-based producer Green Matter gained traction in 2024, supporting Jeanie, playing Wooli’s torch show afterparty, and closing the year with Ray Volpe. She’ll headline Larimer Lounge in January and support Ravenscoon in NY this month.

Helang
Genre – House / Techno
Chinese-American producer Helang started DJing and producing five years ago. She’s dropped multiple EPs and played alongside Camelphat, Cristoph, Layton Giordoni, Adam Beyer, and Eric Prydz. She founded her label, Dauntless, in 2023 and was featured in Forbes and DJ Mag. If you’re in New York, you can usually catch her at Elsewhere and Avant Gardner.

Not Yurs
Genre – House / Techno
Phoenix-based duo Not Yurs made waves in the last few years. From playing the silent discos at Phoenix Lights and Gold Rush to Splash Down Mexico, to dropping their first EP, 2024 was a pretty big year for them. They have recently started to play more shows outside of Arizona; be sure to catch them when they come through your city!

Olan
Genre – House / Breakbeat
Olan, featured in our Who Are Ya series in 2022, supported Odesza on tour in 2023 and released her second album, Floating Worlds, in 2024. We’re’ hoping 2025 will bring a headline tour of her own!

Record Club
Genre – House
Brothers Alex and Dan brought Record Club to life in 2020. They’ve self-released tracks and had hits on No Gimmicks and Dirtybird’s sublabel Birdfeed. They’ve consistently released new music and performed at festivals like Escape. We’re sure 2025 will bring even more house heaters.

Swaylo
Genre – House / Tech House
Hailing from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Swaylo combines every part of his heritage into a mix of “world music, tribal rhythms, and trap.” Starting as a talent buyer and promoter, he transitioned to producing in 2018. In 2024, he released tracks on Ancient Future Presents and played Envision, EDC Mexico, Texas Eclipse, and Electric Forest.
