Gryffin Rocks NYC With Pulse Tour

Last Saturday, October 26, platinum producer and instrumentalist Gryffin returned to his roots in New York City on the Pulse Tour. He took over the outdoor stadium in Forest Hills, Queens, along with support from ALOK and Massane, on a beautiful fall evening with perfect weather to get Halloween weekend started in style.

A fellow guitarist, Massane turned the vibes up with an inspired set that fully rewarded the fans that got out early and enjoyed all the space on the floor. With his new collab with Gryffin “Never Letting Go,” ALOK locked in for a great support set, dropping handfuls of EDM and pop classics, as the NYC crowd filled up the stadium bowl in the back.

After starting with one of his new tracks, Gryffin came out blazing with his EForest classic, “Just For A Moment,” which got the crowd singing along. “Falling to Pieces” and “Lonely” sounded great on the big stage with vocals, showing the power of Gryffin’s 3rd studio album. “Dance Through the Night” was another new track well received by the New York crowd familiar with the assignment.

His new collab with Armin Van Buuren “What Took You So Long” featured near the end of the show and stood up there with his library of classics. I’m glad Gryffin brought it back to the beginning and shouted out his Murray Hill cross streets when he played “Headed Home” for the OG fans. It is a testament to Gryffin’s talent how he weaved the diverse genres of his expansive new Pulse album with the weathered hits of his previous studio albums.

Gryffin takes to the EDSea this weekend before doing a bit of European globetrotting this fall, playing in Norway, Sweden, England, and The Netherlands. He returns to the States for his final Pulse Tour stop of the year in Chicago at Navy Pier on Saturday, November 23. Gryffin starts December with a trip to warm up down under with three shows in Australia before the turn of the year. Keep up with all his latest music using the handy links below.
