The Australian house DJ and producer Dom Dolla filled Avant Gardner’s Great Hall last week as he winds down his North American Tour and concludes Halloween Week in Brooklyn. The New York stop on Dom Dolla’s North American Tour was originally scheduled for Halloween Night, but due to a storm that hit in the Northeast over the weekend, the show was moved to Wednesday November 3 due to electrical issues with the stage production.
Halloween Week at Avant Gardner began last Wednesday October 27 with an incredible performance from Skrillex in the Great Hall. Seven days later, Dom Dolla brought Love & Logic, Torren Foot, and Sonny Fodera to open his show. The venue’s energy for the opening artists was as high as ever, as all three artists brought the house down with their infectious house sets.
Finally Dom Dolla headlined and had fans dancing for an entire hour and a half. The artist cut no corners in preparations for headlining in Brooklyn; the producer came prepped with new visuals, lighting, production, and many unreleased original tracks.
At the conclusion of Dom Dolla’s set, he brought out long-time collaborator and fellow Aussie Sonny Fodera for a surprise B2B. The duo teased new IDs throughout the set and wowed listeners in attendance. With the end of the tour approaching, Dom will now be focused on closing out the year with performances at festivals such as EDC Orlando and Seismic Dance Event 4.0. Shortly after, Dom will be taking off for Hidden Valley Festival in New Zealand.
The Moon Lvnding Team was completely floored from start to finish by the music, the production, the visuals, and the overall atmosphere that Dom Dolla and the Avant Gardner team brought to NYC. What a perfect way to conclude a tour and finish up yet another spectaur, spooky week of Halloween shows. Use the links below to stay up to date with Dom Dolla.
