Walker & Royce Take Denver With Their No Big Deal Tour

As part of their “No Big Deal” tour, supporting the newly released No Big Deal (Part 2) EP, Walker & Royce brought the heat to Denver’s Mission Ballroom on Friday, February 2, 2024. The lineup featured local talents, including Haasy, Nala, and James Patterson, half of renowned NYC duo The Knocks, who set the vibes with a vibrant set spanning disco, acid house, and even some world-influenced tracks.

Next was Nala, a rising star in the house scene since dropping her first track on Dirtybird in 2021, who was scheduled to go B2B with VNSSA. However, despite a last-minute change due to VNSSA falling ill, Nala took the stage solo and delivered a bassline-driven set. She paid homage to VNSSA by spinning four of her tracks, including the fiery “One Pill,” featuring a sample from Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit.”

When Walker & Royce hit the stage, Mission Ballroom throbbed with a booming tech house kick that echoed through the space and captivated fans until the very end. The pair treated the crowd to hits like “Cheap Thrills,” “The Biznes,” and “Rave Grave.” They also played their recent collaboration with VNSSA, “I Don’t Remember,” which was released alongside the EP on January 19, 2024.
