Every March, the electronic dance community takes over Miami for Miami Music Week. This week has grown into one of the most important gatherings in electronic music since its 2011 launch. Anchored by staples like Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival, the city transforms into a nonstop circuit of pool parties, label showcases, and late-night takeovers. This year, a new kind of industry gathering is carving out space in the heart of South Beach: SHIFT Miami, the next evolution for music week.
SHIFT will host multiple events March 24-27th across three venues in South Beach: The Clevelander, The Moxy, and The Wolfsonian. These three hotels are within walking distance of each other, creating a campus-like feel. Events include the Experts Only Demo Drop, Opehlia Records Showcase featuring Seven Lions, the EDM Awards pool party, and the Meet The Press Mixer.
The Meet The Press event will take place on Thursday, March 26th, from 12-2 pm at the Clevelander hotel. It connects artists directly with the journalists, editors, PR teams, and outlets shaping the electronic music conversation — including Moon Lvnding. Moon Lvnding will also be hosting the Cosmic Coast party on March 24th from 7 pm-2 am at the Clevelander.
Perhaps the most defining element of SHIFT’s 2026 philosophy lies in its daytime programming. Rather than centering panels around paid A-list DJs and celebrity-driven optics, SHIFT is spotlighting the architects behind artist success: managers, A&Rs, booking agents, and the press. One thing that sets SHIFT apart from other MMW events is that all of their panelist are unpaid. “When established names show up without a check attached, that speaks louder than a headline,” the team says.
