The Mesa Amphitheatre was absolutely electrifying with performances from Crankdat, Kompany, PhaseOne, Prosecute, and Mamba. ‘Getting cranked’ is more than just a phrase; it’s a state of mind and a promise of an intense, high-energy experience.
From the moment the music started, the ground was literally shaking. This sick lineup brought exactly what the Mesa Amphitheatre needed. Each artist had their own unique flair to really get the heads banging and the beats dropping! The atmosphere was something truly special, with a sold-out crowd of headbangers coming together. Let’s paint the picture: lasers upon lasers illuminated the night sky, while enticing visuals and heavy beats all around created a memorable night!
The energy was palpable even before the music started at 6:00 PM. The anticipation was high, with a line forming the moment the doors opened. Mamba, the opener, didn’t disappoint. He poured his heart and soul into his performance, setting the bar high for the night. His passion and energy were infectious, and he’s definitely an artist to watch as he continues to rise and impress with each performance.
Prosecute, is a heavy hitter who brought his A-game on the ‘Get Cranked’ tour. He has been having an incredible year, consistently proving why he is becoming a household name. He’s a great reason to show up early and get the mosh pits started. With him on stage, there’s no turning back. Prosecute set the tone perfectly for what was to come, leading into a throwdown B2B set from Kompany and PhaseOne!
From the moment these two got on stage until the moment they left, hearts were pounding, the ground was shaking, and the crowd was rowdy and energetic. You could see the raw passion radiating from them and connecting with the audience! The crowd understood the assignment and truly went hard. It helped that Kompany and PhaseOne had chemistry with one another, pumping the crowd up and jumping on the decks as they ensured that necks were breaking and people were having a good time. They were lit and hype, and the crowd was equally as lit. There was no holding back! The energy was infectious, and you couldn’t help but get caught up in the excitement.
There’s nothing quite like Crankdat starting his set with Mii-themed visuals. It’s nostalgic to hear the Mii theme song, and then immediately get cranked up! He played his own songs and edits, but also included a handful of remixes of popular karaoke classics, featuring absolutely filthy drops that completely melted the brains of those in the crowd. Crankdat is a fun performer whose visuals are engaging and current, incorporating the latest memes to make each performance feel unique and special.
The Valley really showed up and showed out, getting cranked for the night. With hard-hitting bangers, wild mosh pits, and captivating visuals with lasers—we give it an absolute 10/10!
