Mau P takes over Denver’s Auraria Campus

Dutch house superstar Mau P is bringing his Baddest Behaviour experience back to Denver. He returns on Friday, July 31, this time taking over the Auraria Campus for a rare five-hour open-to-close set. Get ready for an entire evening of nothing but Mau P.

Presented by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, the event will showcase one of electronic music’s fastest-rising stars at Denver’s newest outdoor concert venue. Mau P takes the stage at 5:00 p.m. and will play straight through until 10:00 p.m. The show is all ages, making it one of the few opportunities for younger fans to experience one of house music’s biggest names live.

Getting there should be easy thanks to the venue’s convenient access to Denver’s light rail system. Food trucks will also be on site throughout the evening, making it easy to grab a bite without leaving the venue. The Auraria Campus has quickly established itself as AEG’s newest outdoor destination alongside iconic Colorado venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, and Civic Center Park. The space recently hosted Zeds Dead’s Backyard Jamboree, proving it’s ready for massive electronic music events. If you haven’t secured your spot yet, limited tickets remain.

Before becoming one of house music’s most recognizable names, Mau P performed under the alias Maurice West. During that era, he released music on labels including Revealed Recordings, Armada Music, and Musical Freedom. His remix of “Everytime We Touch” with Hardwell helped put him on the map in 2018. Everything changed in 2022 when he introduced the Mau P project. His debut single, “Drugs From Amsterdam,” became an instant global hit and launched him into the mainstream.

Denver has played an important role in Mau P’s rise. He sold out Mission Ballroom in 2024 before returning to headline a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2025. He created the Baddest Behaviour concept in 2024. Since then, it has taken over cities including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Miami. Following the Denver stop, the series heads overseas for a residency in Ibiza running from August through October.

If five hours of Mau P still isn’t enough, the night doesn’t have to end when the outdoor show wraps up. Fans looking to keep the party going can head to the afterparty at Larimer Lounge. The afters begin at 10:00 p.m., are 21+. Headliner Austin Ashtin will carry the energy late into the night.

Whether you’re catching Mau P for the first time or returning after one of his previous sold-out Denver performances, Baddest Behaviour is shaping up to be one of the city’s biggest house music events of the summer.
