Toiling away their days and nights, Relentless Beats is preparing to unveil Arizona’s largest music festival to date beginning Friday, September 24. Goldrush is set for three days for the first time, and consists of three music stages, a silent disco, and many more activities and activations throughout the festival grounds. Get excited, because Goldrush is only a few hours away and this lineup is LOADED.
Upon entrance to the festival, prepare to be engulfed in the lights and sounds of the Golden Gorge. Making its debut during the summer series, the megastructure is back and better than ever. For this event, the megastructure received a facelift, boasting a unique stage production design not previously seen over the summer. This stage will feature some of the biggest names in EDM, including the likes of Above & Beyond, ILLENIUM, Jauz, Tony Romera, Chris Lorenzo b2b Wax Motif, and Zeds Dead b2b GRiZ.
Venturing further into the festival in a secluded corner of the grounds is The Hideout. This stage is located on the riverwalk lawn, previously where the main stage was. Boasting one of the biggest lineups that RBDeep has ever showcased, they bring artists like CamelPhat, Dombresky, EDX, Kyle Walker, Vintage Culture plus many more. The Hideout will also be located near Weird & Wonderful, an immersive experience featuring the Zoppe Family Circus, which includes roaming character actors, immersive decor, and two parades each night.
Midway through Old Town Rawhide is the entrance to Pioneers Peak, a mesmeric setting for the stage for all the bassheads out there. Pioneers Peak, which was previously produced on turf, has been upgraded to a nicer astroturf. This stage is set to have the best production yet and is overflowing this year with talent: ATLiens, Getter, Kai Wachi, LSDREAM, NGHTMRE, SVDDEN DEATH, and more.
Chasing to catch more local artists? Two places to fix that itch. One option is to slap on a pair of headphones and waltz into the Mission Patio Silent Disco. Featuring two separate channels to stream, you can easily dance the night away without any music playing out loud. If the headphones aren’t your thing, mosey on over to Tumble Weed Park. This area has cannabis information and a curated selection of dispensary companies in Arizona as well as a smaller cannabis-themed art car stage showcasing local Arizona artists.
Don’t sleep on Old Town Rawhide this year either, as there are other attractions to pique your interests. The Six Gun Performance Theater is the destination for live stand-up comedy, magic shows, stunt performances, and even karaoke. Moonshiners Art Walk is a location where minds can wander off into works of art. This location also features live painting exhibits from some of Arizona’s amazing local artists.
Goldrush 2021 is set to be one for the record books, and as the first big festival in Arizona post-quarantine, fans should be riled up for it. If you’re around the Golden Gorge this weekend, make sure to check out the Moon Lvnding booth for all of your festival needs! And if you’re getting antsy for Goldrush as you tick down the final hours, have a listen to the Moon Lvnding Festival Playlist on Spotify with a few songs from many of the artists performing this year.
