The beginning of a new era is upon us. Relentless Beats is set to unveil Body Language this weekend, a festival taking over downtown Tempe targeting house and techno fans. Boasting one of the greatest lineups Arizona has ever seen, including the likes of Carl Cox, Boris Brejcha, Kaskade, Claptone, Malaa, and a legendary back to back from Dombresky and Noizu. Here are two artists from each day that we are looking forward to this weekend.
Friday
Are you ready to experience some of the best techno that Ireland has to offer? Well you found yourself at the right place. Rebūke, the artist behind the track “Along Came Polly” is set to unleash a hour and a half of pure techno euphoria upon the ones that find their way to the Labyrinth stage from 3 to 4:30pm. Rebūke has found a way to perfectly blend a mix of techno, house and rave records from the early ‘90s to create his own sound. This is one set on Friday that you won’t want to miss.

For those that enjoy the ranges of G-House to UK Bass and a little bit of everything in between, Wax Motif is one set that should be on your schedule. Coming off his recently dropped album “House of Wax,” Motif is packing a heavy punch for his set on Friday. Performing on the Mirage stage from 6 to 7:30pm, prepare yourself for one of the best acts Body Language has to offer on Friday’s slate.

Saturday
He’s one artist that will most certainly have you questioning how deep and dark you really like your basslines. Exploring the sinister and more imaginative side of house music, Drezo creates a one of a kind experience, calling it “Evil Downtempo.” Set to take the Labyrinth stage by storm from 4:30 to 6pm, Drezo is one artist everyone should keep on their radar at the festival on Saturday.

Possibly one of the most versatile DJs performing this weekend, Eats Everything brings a bit of it all to the table with his music. Spanning through genres like house, techno, disco, garage, and more, Eats Everything is one artist you won’t want to skip out on. Encounter Eats Everything and his extraordinary sound on the Mirage stage from 5:25 to 6:55pm.

Sunday
An artist that lives and breathes house music, Gene Farris is a legend within the Chicago house music scene. Farris is considered to be one of the artists who helped in evolving house and techno into what we know it as today. Farris’ ability to move effortlessly between all shades of house and techno, makes him both accessible and unpredictable; a rarity in the world of electronic music. Gene Farris is slated to play the Labyrinth stage from 4:30 to 6pm.

A house duo that have solidified themselves within the scene, Walker & Royce have spent years honing in on their iconic sound. Ultimately, they’ve created music that isn’t just playable, it’s irresistible. Walker & Royce close out the Labyrinth stage on Sunday, going on at 7:30 and finishing at 9pm. If you’re around the Labyrinth stage around those times, stop in and listen, or get lost in their whole set. Nobody is judging.
