Beyond The Booth: Deluluz

Bursting onto the scene in true Texas style, local favorite Deluluz has been creating quite a buzz in the bass world in 2026. Since launching their official duo project in early February, Deluluz has been making a splash across the Lone Star State. Formed by friends Allie and Jessi, who were just delusional enough to send it, these talented newcomers are definitely ones to watch in the coming year. We were lucky to chat with them after their energetic performance at Ubbi Dubbi Festival in Fort Worth, Texas.

Allie, who has been a DJ and producer since about 2018, teamed up with longtime friend Jessi to form this new side project. A cheeky spin on the term “delulu,” short for delusional, the group got its start over dinner one evening as a joke. Allie (Little Fohx) jokingly asked Jessi if she’d be her manager and help her get booked for various shows within the metroplex. Jessi replied, “What if we just started a duo?” After a long night of discussing the details, the duo was born.

So Wake Me Up When It’s All Over

Having discovered EDM during the golden era of the 2010s, they maintained their passion for electronic music through college and beyond. Influenced by artists like Calvin Harris, Avicii, Alesso, and Louis the Child, one might expect a softer tone from these two. However, Deluluz defies that expectation with powerful drops and bass-heavy sounds along with a dash of dubstep! “I wouldn’t say riddim, it’s like that medium of dubstep… Like a lot of artists that play ILLfest,” says Allie.

Jessi is excited to explore different parts of the bass spectrum. She is eager to bring more sing-along elements and cheeky meme adverbs into their upcoming production. Meanwhile, Allie wants to incorporate more color bass and bass house elements, similar to Death Pact. As these two talented ladies continue to refine and develop their unique styles, they’re gaining more momentum with each step of this exciting new project. With dreams of playing EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland, these vivacious newcomers are well on their way with the feats they’ve accomplished in just three short months.

Full Send!

After recently playing Breakaway Dallas and Ubbi Dubbi, along with the announcement that they’ll be supporting James Hype during his upcoming Grad Concert on May 9th, Deluluz is on a trajectory to win. One thing is certain. None of this would have come about if they didn’t believe in themselves and stay consistent. So if you’ve ever been on the fence about chasing your dreams, take a page out of Deluluz’s book. “Just do it. That’s true for anything that you want to do in life. Just get started, you’ll get somewhere eventually.”
