LA-based artist Tyson Illingworth, known as tyDi, teams up with vocalist Bella Renee to produce the feel good track “New Normal.” tyDi has been going to work during quarantine, putting out numerous successful releases in the past few months. This track hits a little differently, as it’s something everyone can relate to nowadays.
tyDi uses light guitar and percussion to begin the song that quickly enlists the vocal prowess of Bella Renee. “New Normal” runs right into the drop using a lot of well layered samples and synths. The lyrics of the song perfectly capture the life we all are living right now. Renee sings about the new normal of bumping elbows instead of embracing each other, and not knowing when this will all end. The lyrics are striking and beautifully written, surely able to put you in your feels.
