Labor Day weekend in Chicago just got a little bit more exciting, as North Coast Music Festival dropped its initial lineup for the 13th edition of the festival. Slated to take place September 1 – 3, 2023, North Coast is one festival that should not be overlooked for Labor Day weekend. The lineup this year looks to be a step up from last year, with names like Marshmello, Zeds Dead, and Flume performing in 2023.
Like last year, there will again be stage takeovers in 2023. Chris Lake is bringing a cast of Black Book Records artists with him for a takeover on the Canopy stage. Liquid Stranger is also bringing along some of his fellow DJs for a Waakan takeover on the Vega stage. For Lane 8’s set at North Coast, he is shooting for his “This Never Happened” concept, where there are no photos or videos allowed — that means no phones, no cameras or any other device capable of recording — to create one of the most uniquely engaged atmospheres for his performance.
This incredible lineup will see over 100 artists performing across six different stages this year. Some artists you should keep on the radar for North Coast this year: the closers of the Stadium stage — Marshmello, Zeds Dead, and Flume; the closers of the Vega stage — Liquid Stranger, DJ Snake, and a B2B from Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE; the closers of the Canopy stage — Duke Dumont, Lane 8, and Chris Lake; as well as artists Dabin, Jauz, Cloonee, Champagne Drip, Kyle Watson, Sultan + Shepard, Valentino Khan and Wuki.
As a reminder, North Coast is scheduled for September 1 – 3, 2023 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Tickets are still available for purchase, so plan to get them before prices increase, because this is one Labor Day festival worth traveling to.
