Damiano Cortini, better known as Emorfik, is a rising heavy bass music producer and DJ based out of Syracuse, NY; and he’s starting 2022 off with a bang with an independent release. New single “Born To Destroy” is out today!
Coming off of a strong 2021, Emorfik is continuing his hefty run of releases and upcoming shows. The producer had a standout year in 2021 releasing 5 singles, a four track EP, and snagging a release on Cyclops Recordings’ Planet Cyclops collab album. Keeping the momentum going into the new year, Emorfik is destined to have a breakout year and become a stand out name in bass music.
Emorfik has created his own signature sound, and this new release captures it perfectly. The slow theatrical build layered with kicks and synths, rises into the heavy, heavy drops. “Born To Destroy” fits the artists motto and theme of ‘Angry Shit Only.’ Last month, Emorfik uploaded a live recorded mix to his SoundCloud that fully encapsulates the motto (Angry Shit Only Mix).
The talented producer is kicking off the year with his ASO (Angry Shit Only) Tour. The ten city tour began this past weekend and will run into September, concluding with North Coast Music Festival in Chicago. Emorfik has become known in the bass scene for not only his gnarly track production, but also for his insane live mixing abilities. The artist displays these talents to a wider audience with Tik Tok and Instagram posts of himself mixing double, triple, and even quadruple drops seamlessly.
