Decadence 2021: The Grand Finale

Article by: Kyle Dusterhoft

Here we are, another year come and gone. 2021 has had its ups and downs but festivals are back and Relentless Beats is not here to let the year close quietly. From Summer Series to Gold Rush, and many other shows that have happened this year, Relentless Beats is not taking a step backward for Decadence. They’ve collected some of the biggest names to finish out 2021 on a high note.

This two-day festival is not one to miss if you’re in Arizona this weekend. Decadence takes place on December 30th and 31st stretching its way into the morning hours of New Year’s Day. And this year is jam-packed full of talent you’ll be able to find your favorite artists at four separate locations throughout the festival grounds this year. Bringing together the Grand Palace, Royal Ballroom, The Jester’s Court, and the Playhouse Silent Disco. Get prepared because New Year’s is quickly approaching and Decadence is not going to let Arizona shut out the year quietly.

Starting with the Grand Palace. The megastructure returns, but for this, the structure extends over the entire crowd. Grand Palace boasts some of the biggest names of the entire festival. Day one delivers us the likes of BIJOU, Alesso, Seven Lions, Alison Wonderland, and Kaskade. While Friday brings the heavy hitters with Alan Walker, Diesel aka Shaquille O’Neal, Marshmello, and Excision. Don’t sleep on the openers either for the Grand Palace, Dark Mark on Thursday, and Animate on Friday. And if you’re looking to ring in the new year here, you’ll be in good hands with Dillon Francis.

Featuring some of dance music’s hottest names is the Royal Ballroom. The lineup for this stage could go blow for blow in some people’s eyes against the Grand Palace. Featuring Gem & Tauri, Purple Disco Machine, Nora En Pure, and Chris Lake on Thursday. And Friday’s lineup just gets stronger, with TVBOO, Destructo, Fisher, and Loud Luxury throwing down on Friday. At this stage, Sonny Fodera will be ringing in the new year.

The Rynobus Art Car is making a return for Decadence as The Jester’s Court. Complimented by the cast of Weird & Wonderful which was showcased at Gold Rush. This stage compiles a great amount of talent for the smaller stage at Decadence. A few artists to look out for on Thursday include Sharps, M?stic, TRST, and The Hotel Lobby. And if you’re there Friday, you may want to find yourself at The Jester’s Court for PR!CE, Bella Renee, Sleeper Cell and Odd Language.

Ignoring the sounds of squeaking shoes in an otherwise quiet area, The Playhouse Silent Disco is where you want to be if you enjoy a bit of the underground regional DJ talent. The three-channel silent disco boasts the largest lineup of any of the stages. A few DJs you should have on your schedule for Thursday include Claire Voyant, Elwer, Residuo, Lance Fairchild, District13, and Peachy Keen. Friday keeps the silent party going with the likes of WASH, Paz, SHSTR, Youms, and Jur.

This weekend is going to be one for the books. With the talent and amenities that Relentless Beats has brought us we should be in for a treat for Decadence. If you can’t wait any longer for the festivities to begin, perhaps you should take a listen to our Decadence playlist with tracks from every artist performing.
